Mr. Anuj Kumar has over 20 years of special situations, private equity, investment banking and operating experience and is currently responsible for the Structured Credits Group of Kotak Mahindra Bank. Before this, he has worked with ING Vysya Bank for structured Credits Group and he was a Partner with Axis Private Equity, a US$150 million fund, where he led investments in infrastructure-related companies. Prior to that, he was with Sabre Capital, where he led several infrastructure investments from the US$100 million Sabre Abraaj Private Equity fund and was part of Sabre Capital’s core team for the control investment in Centurion Bank. Earlier, he set up and headed Merrill Lynch’s business for principal investments in distressed assets in India. He is an alumni of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and a qualified Chartered Accountant.
