Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to oversee our Credit Operations department. The Lead Credit Operations will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the organization’s credit strategies ensuring operational excellence. This position requires a visionary professional with strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of credit , end to end disbursement process , policies and the ability to foster collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the company’s credit operations strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
- Establish long-term objectives to improve credit processes, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead initiatives to adapt to evolving market trends and regulatory requirements.
- Team Management:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Credit Operations team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
- Credit Policy and Risk Management:
- Oversee the formulation, review, and implementation of credit policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory frameworks.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with credit processes.
- Operational Excellence:
- Drive process improvements to optimize credit operations workflows and turnaround times.
- Implement technology solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in credit decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior leadership to align credit operations with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and risk management teams to ensure a seamless credit lifecycle.
- Represent the organization in discussions with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders as needed.

Desired Profile
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in credit operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Comprehensive understanding of credit policies, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements with extensive knowledge of legal and technical aspects of property for loan against property.
- Proven track record of managing large teams and driving operational transformation.
- Expertise in financial tools, credit management systems, and data analysis.
- Strong decision-making, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in credit or risk management (e.g., Certified Credit Professional, CFA, FRM).
- Experience in implementing digital transformation projects within credit operations.
- Background in managing credit operations in multinational or large-scale organizations.
