 In 2018 the company decided to bring a change in its HR policy giving women opportunities to break the glass ceiling in the sector which was largely male-dominated.

In 2021, the company held a special drive to appoint female Branch Operation Managers (BOMs). Under this recruitment drive, 25% of branches recruited women employees as BOM and today Light Microfinance’s 40% of branches have at least one women employee.
